Agriculture & Gardening

Agriculture is the major sector of Nepalese economy. It still provides employment opportunities the total population and contributes in the GDP. Therefore, the development of agriculture sector is the key for the development of national economy.

The region where Last Frontiers takes you to endeavor the journey into the people’s lives is still primitive in the way people farm and work on their field. The use of organic manure is still there in the remote parts of the region, but with the modern chemical fertilizers, farming and its productivity has grown.

We will take you to visit local farmers, meet with the locals, visit co-operating farming, visit farmers involved in high end cash crop, interact with NGO’s, INGO’s, and much more.

We can also create small detailed programs, like training programs provided by your organization or personally, internship programs working on the field, or any other projects that is feasible with the area and people.

With Last Frontiers, we will introduce you to the ways Nepalese, and regional people like to create their gardens. From the basic garden of a local villager, to a bio-technical garden, and to the gardens that are renovated that carry a long history, we will visit and learn about these gardens.

Our program will be designed around the focus of gardening that can blend with other tours. Kindly email us to tailor make your own program.
