JUMLA - LAKE PHOKSUNDO

The land of Dolpo situated in far west Nepal on the edge of Tibetan plateau is probably the last enclave of pure Tibetan culture left. As the Tibetan people continue to live there and carry on their cultivation, domestication and trade, they have managed to preserve many of their fascinating monasteries. The trek goes through many remote villages and mountain passes like the Numa and Baga La and ends in Jumla.
