Shrines & Monasteries

The city of Kathmandu is a melting pot for the nation’s population not only today but also in the yester years. Perhaps that is the reason behind the rich cultural heritage of the city. Kathmandu with its unique architectural heritage, palaces, and courtyards has inspired many writers, artists, and poets both foreign and Nepalese.

Among these are the standing temples, shrines, and monasteries. At every corner, you will find an historical temple or a shrine. We here in Last Frontiers – will take you to re-discover these shrines and monasteries. Our programs will be based on knowledge of the issue, the existence of these small shrines, and temples, the origin of a monastery; we will interact with the locals, with experts to know more about these shrines and monasteries.

Our program will also focus on UNESCO heritage sites like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambunath, and other major temples, shrines and monasteries in the region.
