TREKKING
IN THE MAKALU
The Langtang lies north of Kathmandu Valley has hidden beauty of the Himalayas
and the rich culture of the valley inhabited by the Sherpas. It has natural
beauty of high country life and rich vegetation of alpine forests with many
kinds of wild flowers, there are plenty of birds and animals like the Snow
Leopard, Himalayan Panda and musk deer. The Sherpas and the Tibetans inhabit
the valleys. In recent years, you can see mix of culture.
There are fewer trekkers here in this part than either the other regions
and the hotels are quieter and uncrowded. We can come in contact with the
Tibetan Mongoloid sect, the Sherpas. In Helambu we can meet these local
Sherpas and know their peculiar ways of life style. Along the way we see
numerous bird varieties, the beautiful meadows, wild flowers, the wild goat
and other beautiful animals.
